"People only seriously consider change when they feel accepted for exactly who they are." Carl Rogers
Many of us will experience mental health issues in our lives. Acknowledging these and seeking help can be extremely hard, and I know just how difficult taking that first step can be. I feel that anyone brave enough to do so is worthy of time and a great deal of respect.
I am very passionate about the counselling process and believe strongly in a person’s ability to make positive changes and their potential to grow. Whether we are working in the room or online, I aim to provide a safe, friendly, confidential and non-judgmental space within which this process can happen.
My training as an integrative counsellor compliments my view that counselling is not a ‘one size fits all’ process. An integrative approach to therapy draws from a wide range of counselling models and theories in order to suit you, the individual. I have worked with a wide range of clients in the past with issues ranging from abuse, addiction, depression, self-esteem, relationships, family, sexuality, stress, trauma and many others.
