Christian Therapy, from Cornerstone
At Cornerstone we recognise a need for mental health provision for Christians. No matter which tribe you belong to, and no matter what status you may hold within a church, mental health issues don't discriminate - and not all churches or ministers have the skill set or time to effectively walk alongside Christians in a therapeutic way when trouble hits.
Counselling, or therapy is more than pastoral care, and we don't seek to step on toes by providing this service. Over the past eight years we have worked with congregation members, pastors, their spouses and their children, as well as those who have left a church in conflict and felt hurt. We have worked alongside Christians in the depths of depression and anxiety, through marriage difficulties, and suicidal thoughts.
If you are a minister or person in responsibility in your church and looking to signpost someone towards our services, please do get in touch by emailing or calling us. If you are a Christian looking for a specialist service, then welcome! We're glad you've visited our site.
Our team consists of Christians with experience across a wide spectrum of Christian ministries, as well as experience of Christian leadership environments. We would be pleased to meet with you, discuss a plan for your therapy, and answer any questions you may have.
Cornerstone counsellors are professionally trained, and regulated by national registration bodies. Additionally, our team consists of members of the Association of Christian Counsellors.
